During your 3+ work sessions at Panduit, you will be exposed to Toolroom Processes, Engineering Lab(s), Operation Facilities, Product Design and Product Management, Project Management and Quality Planning. Your assigned projects will include New Product Research, Product Design Improvements, Product Quality Investigations, Lab Test Plans and Testing, Prototyping and Analysis. You will learn/use systems such as Teamcenter (PLM), NX (CAD/CAM), Oracle, as well as typical Microsoft Applications.
Being part of an engineering team, you will be mentored by experienced engineers and work on several projects throughout your terms. By the end of your 2nd term, you will begin managing your own projects as well.
Preferred Major: BS in Mechanical Engineering
Preferred Schooling Status: Completed 2 years of school prior to Co-op
Typical Work Assignment: Work at least three alternating semesters. Summer counts as a semester.
