Manufacturing Production Engineer

Hemp & Supplement Manufacturing Company seeking a part time engineer to develop and manage production of multiple lines of products. Will turn in to full-time within 1-2 months. To be discussed.

Responsibilities include:

Designing, implementing and reviewing the procedures and equipment involved in the manufacturing process.

Researching automation techniques, testing new systems for efficiency and planning factory layouts to optimize production.

Plan, organize and oversee all internal and 3rd party audits.

Oversee the development and implementation of manufacturing processes to maintain proper product functionality as well as cost efficiency.

Ensures the team works together cohesively.

Responsible for the development of equipment to aid in the manufacturing process.

Reviews, evaluates and implements engineering changes and specification requirements.

Implements and revises formulas for potency requirements of product. Must be able to work the math long form, by hand, on all the formulations.

Manages inventory and production software.

Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.

Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.

Requirements:

Requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.

1-3 years supervisory experience required.

Food science preferred.

Requires a bachelor’s degree.

Initially requiring 10 hours per week and will grow in to full time position.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $52,000.00 - $86,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
