Job Title: Product Engineer

Location: Frazeysburg, OH 

Salary: Negotiable; Dependent upon experience

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Job Description:
Ridge Corporation is a solutions driven manufacturing company that brings concepts to life through the application of composites and advanced materials.  We are seeking innovative manufacturing-oriented technician candidates to help us create, develop, manufacture, and/or refine fiber reinforced thermoplastic and thermoset products that will meet the needs of current customers while expanding our reach into diverse markets and new client bases. The ideal candidate will have interest in a fast paced, hands-on environment that allows them to creatively solve manufacturing related problems.  Other related duties would include vendor communication, generating requests for proposal, soliciting quotes, writing work instructions, time studies, and continuous improvement projects. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

1.    Develop manufacturing/engineering work instructions and assist in the establishment/improvement of the manufacturing process.
2.    Monitor/troubleshoot issues involving the manufacturing process.
3.    Assist/design of custom equipment for manufacturing.
4.    Electrical experience (Controls and AC power related)
5.    Mechanical design experience
6.    Lean Manufacturing experience
7.    ISO or QS Quality System experience
8.    OSHA Standards
9.    Ability to travel between two locations in Pataskala and Frazeysburg Ohio

Minimum Qualifications

1.    2 year Engineering Tech degree
2.    Knowledge of CAD (Solidworks preferred)
3.    High level of mechanical aptitude.
4.    Willingness to integrate into a closely-knit team.
5.    Self-motivated, innovative, creative, and resourceful.
6.    TPM and Lean Six Sigma Experience (Green Belt Certification is a plus)
7.    Ability to effectively utilize control plans and flow charts
8.    Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office applications at an advanced level, Minitab is a plus
9.    Knowledge of composites and plastics
10.    Knowledge of company safety, OSHA and department policies and procedures including Lock Out Tag Out
11.    Good applied interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
12.    Ability to read and comprehend basic English and perform basic math functions 
13.    Work with measurements, micrometers, calipbers and tape measures
14.    Ability to be self-motivated, working with mimal to no supervision
