Form of workGENERAL DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Provide support to the NA Product Distribution team with banana and pineapple distribution, by monitoring product inventory and coordinating daily processes with NA sales, NA ports and Latin American production.
Pay Range: $65,000-$70,000
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION:
Consolidate, review and update weekly preorders with District Sales Managers and Regional Product Manager(s).
Input, validate and update weekly sailing manifests from production in JDE One-World for allocation to sales.
Consolidate weekly volume estimates in order to review with the Regional Product Manager(s).
Coordinate logistics to third party ports or warehouses, including tracking rejected loads from port to customer, managing bulk and overweight box inventory.
Coordinate distribution of leftover bulk product in NA port warehouses.
Provide follow up with Sales on pending quality complaint notices.
Participate on special projects at the request of Sr. Director, Quality and Distribution.
Manage daily orders that remain in open status and review open inventory daily.
Respond to daily port/carrier issues and problems to ensure orders make it out to customers in a timely manner.
Cover daily departmental tasks in the absence of the Regional Product Manager(s).

WORK HOUR & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- Availability to travel to domestic offices, ports or locations required for meetings. Minimal overnight travel required throughout the year.
- Availability to work some evenings or weekends as the position requires.
Required Experience
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
- High School degree or GDE required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Power BI, D365 and Salesforce experience a plus.
Experience in JD Edwards OW preferred.
