Pay Range: $55,000 - $65,000/Annually

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Development Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the development and improvement of our products. Your primary focus will be on simulating, modifying, and testing product designs, ensuring product quality control, and conducting thorough analysis and evaluation through performance testing. Additionally, you will collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to discuss project requirements and provide technical support to the Sales department. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for innovation. Responsibilities & Duties:

• Understanding the differences between diamond tools in various applications such as concrete, asphalt, stone, tile, glass, automotive, semiconductor, etc.
• Understanding the basic theory of designing diamond tools in various factors for cutting/grinding speed, tool life, and surface treatment.
• Identifying international standards related to diamond tools, such as EN 13236 and ANSI standards, and then applying them to product design, and using them to evaluate the quality of manufactured products.
• Understanding key factors on drawings of diamond tools like tolerance, symbols, and others.
• Creating drawings of diamond tools.
• Keeping abreast of advancements in engineering, and production, and sharing information/updates with colleagues.
• Scheduling & participating in meetings with relevant departments and stakeholders.
• Analyzing all facets of production and making recommendations for improvement.
• Purchasing and obtaining any materials and equipment that are required for new Product Development.
• Conducting quality control in products during production.

Required Competencies:

• Proficient with computers, video meetings/messaging applications (Skype, Ring Central, Microsoft Teams, and/or Zoom), computer programs, and Microsoft Office such as Excel, Word, and Outlook. (Required)
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Excellent skills in analyzing, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
• Great attention to detail and organizational skills.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

• Ability to work and sustain attention with distractions and/or interruptions.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to lift products and equipment that are about 1lb – 15lb at times.
• Ability to travel for business (about 10% of the time).
• Ability to interact appropriately with various individuals, including customers/clients.
• Ability to deal with people under adverse circumstances.
• Ability to make decisions under pressure.

Job Qualifications:

• At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the US. (required)
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or material engineering, related field, or equivalent work experience (required)
• A valid driver's license and proof of Insurance (required)
• Has experience in using CAD software or any relevant software (required)
• Need a reliable mode of transportation. (required)
• Must be able to communicate written and verbally in English (required)
• Can read/write and professionally communicate in either Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, or Indonesian. (preferred)

Working hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday-Friday, Full time, Onsite
