Housekeeper - Assisted Living

Housekeeper for Assisted Living - Full time
Housekeeper responsible for cleaning residents apartments and common areas.

Must have a minimum of three years experience in housekeeping/sanitation.

Must have a general knowledge of housekeeping practices and procedures , as well as the regulations governing chemicals. Must be able to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Effective communication skills essential.

Have the ability to work tactfully and willingness to work cooperatively with personnel, residents, families, visitors, and government regulatory agencies.

Ability to read and write effectively in English. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions and able to communicate clearly to all personnel.

Must be able to relate and work well with the ill, disabled, elderly and at times emotionally upset people.

Must be able to push, pull, move, carry and /or lift a maximum of 40lbs. to a minimum of 5 feet.

Maintain a dress code suitable for the housekeeping department.

Manage time efficiently, adhere to scheduled hours and minimize unscheduled absence. Consistently present and appropriate professional appearance as requires by dress code.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
