SalaryNY based wholesale apparel company looking for: Product Development Associate for Mens and Boys Activewear.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review and approve product submits (lab dips, fabrics, pre-production samples, WIP charts etc.)
- Communicate with overseas factories to manage development/sampling.
- Send and track samples and submits to retailers and licensors for approval.
- Use PLM systems to retrieve TPs and upload QTX lab dip submits
- Creation of tech packs and CADs as needed.
- Manage fabric and color libraries
- Strong communication, and teamwork skills in daily collaboration with Design, TD, and sourcing teams
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- 1 to 3 years experience.
- Understanding of apparel construction, and the activewear industry
- Organized with great attention to detail and be results oriented.
- Proficient with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel as well as a Mac Environment.
SALARY: $55-60k + BOE
