We are Kronospan. This position may be located at our Oxford, Alabama or Clarion, Pennsylvania Sites. JOB BASICS The purpose of this position is to work closely with the Product Development and Sales teams on the development and lifecycle process of laminate flooring to meet customer needs.
Set up and manage market intelligence database that includes competitive pricing, specifications, specific market issues, new product requests and other relevant market information. Production, coordination, and tracking of all sampling efforts, both post production and prototypes. Work cross functionally for process improvements and other initiatives such as value engineering Work closely with the operations team to make sure item launches run smoothly.
Responsible for label creation and maintenance. Responsible for KSoft item creation and maintenance as well as ownership of item specification sheets and other product related support items. Requirements WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED Excellent attendance record.
Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted Must have excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills Must have excellent customer relations skills including customer response, service improvement and the ability and willingness to keep commitments Must display original thinking and creativity through resourcefulness, suggestions and problem solving Must be self-motivated and comfortable working individually and as part of a team. Able to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently within the context of a fast-paced environment Must have strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint Demonstrated high energy level, strong work ethic, and positive approach to problem solving.
