JOB TITLE: Product Analyst
LOCATION: 11000 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 (Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.)
DUTIES: Develop and execute software tests to identify software problems and their causes. Duties include: develop and assist with governance, manage security and access provisioning, and interface with the user community, business stakeholders, and the Domo application engagement team; capture and define requirements for the development of new features and techniques needed by the community, as well as troubleshoot existing functionality when needed; be accountable for ongoing training and establishing standards and best practices for the Domo instances; assist in administering multiple Domo instances and serve as a resource responsible for configurations, security access, release updates and maintenance of the Domo application; maintain configuration for newly developed applications, documentation of release, approval rules and notifications; collaborate in efforts with other internal Domo instance administrators to promote tool alignment and pertinent integration; lead additional Administration duties and community-wide application enhancement projects as priorities permit; assist with user management duties including fundamental creation, deactivation, permission configuration, and troubleshooting; understand the needs of internal customers through ongoing user group forums, timely communications, and conduct alliance sessions through structured trainings; design and develop standard processes for development of new applications and solutions for the Domo user community (formulas, flow, workflow, rules, approvals, nomenclature); collaborate with the Domo development team through various project phases as needed: requirements gathering, solutioning, development, testing, deployment, support, and documentation; monitor for and troubleshooting errors, issues, and bugs; and stay up to date on the latest announcements and innovation from Domo and other analytic/reporting partners. Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.
REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related computer occupation. Position requires two (2) years of experience in the following:
- programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala;
- development skills including workflow, process, flow, reports, and formula development;
- managing data and users via scripting;
- SQL and ETL;
- committing code to a code repository;
- ingesting and working with large and complex datasets; and
- gathering requirements from end users.
Position also requires one year of experience in platform and system administration.
RATE OF PAY: $99,694 - $109,274 / per year
