Job Description
- Manage the month end consolidation across Oracle FCCS including support for the data load and reconciliation of actuals culminating in the timely completion of the monthly world-wide financial consolidation in accordance with GAAP.
- Lead consolidation procedures by partnering with global finance team to establish and maintain proper intercompany transaction reporting for accuracy and ultimate elimination within consolidation.
- Financial reporting to both internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to: board of directors, tax advisors, statutory filings, external auditors, and other stand-alone legal entity reporting.
- Manage reporting of pro-forma accounting adjustments and addbacks for board and bank reporting purposes.
- Key liaison to the global finance organization and global process owners, interact closely with finance team members in various regions.
- Provide support for the FCCS application including problem identification and resolution, reporting, tracking and analysis.
- Support budget process, working with business users on submission and consolidation of budget and forecast data.
- Support allocation processes.
- Maintain FCCS training documentation, and support system training for new hires, contractors, and employees that have changed roles.
- Be a key contributor in the future development and implementation of other Oracle EPM applications (ARCS - Account Reconciliation Cloud Service, Narrative Reporting, and EDMCS - Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service.
- Oversee and maintain proper system of internal controls over the financial reporting process, identify and recommend improvement as necessary.
- Assist with year-end audit.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or related discipline or the equivalent in training and experience.
- 3-5 years of relevant Finance/Accounting experience in a large, global, highly acquisitive organization, with global consolidation experience a plus.
- CPA, CMA or other appropriate certification preferred.
- Strong foundation in accounting/finance concepts and knowledge of GAAP.
- Understanding of global consolidation and foreign currency preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to design, develop, and maintain new and existing reports.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including, executives, managers, and SMEs across the globe.
- Ability to work with both technical and non-technical personnel at various levels of the organization to achieve strategic objectives.
- Experience with change management and data governance procedures.
- Experience working with various general ledger systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
