New Son Yeng Produce is a small business in Brooklyn, NY. We are professional, customer-centric, fast-paced and our goal is to provide New York City with top-quality produce from farms around the world.

Responsibilities:
- Call customers each day to create orders for the produce currently in our inventory
- Actively reach out to new customers located around New York City to try to establish new business relationships
- Greet and assist in-person customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and offering product information
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management
- Handle transactions accurately
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the freshness and quality of produce
- Assist with receiving and inspecting deliveries
Experience:
- Previous experience in a wholesale, retail, or customer service role preferred
- Knowledge of produce varieties, handling, and storage is a plus
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and the ability to interact with customers effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to provide personalized assistance to customers
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Upselling skills to promote additional products or specials to customers
- Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese

Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
