YOUR LIFE AS A PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST
This full-time HVAC/R purchasing position generally works in the office Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm with a possibility of flexing. We are also open to offering a hybrid work-from-home and work-from-office option after training has been completed.
In this full-time Procurement Specialist / Purchasing position, we rely on you to lead key activities for stock replenishment across our 9 locations. Much of your time is spent ensuring our HVAC/R quotes are approved faster, processed more quickly, and hardware is shipped more efficiently. Working closely with branch teams, you help manage their needs and expectations to accurately fill customer orders. Further, as an active team member, you work with colleagues across multiple locations to provide resourceful product and vendor information. You also review open orders and ensure they are completed in a timely fashion, and all delivery requirements are met.
In addition to help keeping operations flowing smoothly, you pride yourself in your ability to foster positive working relationships with both clients and fellow team members. Being goal-driven and task-oriented means you are always looking for ways to improve initiative and increase efficiency, as well as push projects and tasks toward completion through effective prioritization, work planning, time management, and cross-functional collaboration. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- At least 1 year of experience with procurement, purchasing, or inventory management
- Strong computer skills, including advanced Excel using formulas
- Can work under pressure with a high sense of urgency
- Excellent project management skills
