We are hiring! AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Procurement Specialist Energy – Remote. This position is based out of either our Oak Ridge, TN; Aiken, SC; Richland, WA; or Charlotte, NC office, however, it is a remote position.

How will you contribute to the team?

• Assists the Procurement Supervisor in the day-to-day implementation of the Policies and Procedures.

• Seeks “best value” suppliers of off-the-shelf goods and services (e.g., supplies, parts, equipment and maintenance) through market research, price quotes and other company approved methods.

• Selects appropriate goods or services for purchase in response to an applicable purchase requisition and negotiates the purchase and delivery of such goods or services.

• Maintains accurate and complete procurement files of all goods and services purchased in accordance with AtkinsRéalis’s procurement policies and procedures.

• Coordinates, develops and produces subcontract documentation such as subcontracts, agreements, modifications, task/delivery orders, solicitations, estimates, cost/price analyses, negotiation memorandums, justifications, determinations, special contract provisions, representations, certifications and correspondence.

• Evaluates proposals and quotations, determines offer responsiveness, responsibility and eligibility for award and provides support for discussions and negotiations.

• Responsible for maintaining subcontract files.

• Responsible for monitoring and tracking supplier deliverables.

• Reviews and processes purchase requisitions.

• May have responsibility to ensure subcontract requirements are met, monitors cost status, assists in cost management and coordinates issue resolution with customers.

• Negotiates terms and conditions with suppliers or subcontractors.

• Ensures cost or price analyses are conducted and adequately documented to ensure fair and reasonable prices.

• Closes out supplier or subcontracts.

• May coordinate, develop and produce subcontract documentation.

• May be responsible for maintaining subcontract files.

• Assists with the implementation of small business program requirements in accordance with AtkinsRéalis’s customer contracts.

• Provides support for small business reporting requirements, including reports to the Department of Energy and the Small Business Administration.

• Responds to daily requests for assistance from small businesses.

• Assists in internal and external small business program activities and events including conferences, awards programs, and the Mentor-Protégé Program.

• Assists Business Development and program/technical staff in understanding small business subcontracting goals and work collaboratively with staff to provide resource resources and guidance; Assist with training and communication to Business Development staff on small business program requirements, processes, and policy updates.

• Actively participates, as assigned, in other governance activities that may include staff training programs, self-assessments, requirements analysis,

What will you contribute?

• Bachelor's degree preferred and 0-2 years' experience.

• Experience setting up and maintaining SharePoint sites preferred.

• Strong interpersonal skills to work with team members, clients and suppliers.

• Experience providing customer service to internal and/or external clients.

• Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and to participate creatively in collaborative teams.

• Ability to successfully make quick decisions and meet goals while working under severe time constraints.

• Demonstrated ability to be creative with a keen attention to detail.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work as a team member.

• Ability to adapt and work on varying assignments.

• Proficiency using Microsoft Office products, particularly Word and Excel.

• Experience working with procurement systems.

• Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment, set priorities to accomplish multiple tasks within deadlines, and adapt to ever changing needs.

• U.S. Citizenship is required for Atkins Nuclear Secured employment.

• Must be a U.S. citizen in order to be considered.

Expected compensation range is between $56,000 - $94,000 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.

Upon acceptance of an offer, all candidates must go through a drug screen test and background check. AtkinsRéalis is a federal contractor which mandates a satisfactory background screening report and drug test that supersedes state laws.
