Procurement Analyst

Procurement Analyst:

This diverse role requires a solid understanding of the end-to-end procurement process. In this position, you will be responsible for purchase order management and vendor management. Directly support and assist in all aspects of the inventory purchasing, responding to vendor requests, updating tracking on purchase orders, updating lead-times, and item master accuracy.

Payrate: $43,000 per year.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm

After initial on-site training of up to 90 days, this will become a hybrid position requiring employee to be in onsite 2 to 3 days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Place, maintain and track purchase orders.
• Communicate regularly with suppliers via email and phone to ensure timely receipt of product.
• Obtain quotes from vendors to support customer RFQ’s and bid proposals, while maintaining margin accuracy
• Run reports and analyze to ensure that all customer commitments are fulfilled as promised.
• Deliver quotes, purchase order confirmations, order status, and related communication updates to customer service.
• Communicate and resolve non-conformance issues for the assigned product line.

Requirements:

• 2 years of previous experience in procurement, purchasing, buying or related field required. (aerospace experience a plus!)
• Excellent verbal, written, organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks to problem solve with a sense of urgency.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and related software.
