- Assists the therapists and assistants in the performance of patient care duties.
- Transports patients between nursing and therapy areas as appropriate and applicable.
- Provides general housekeeping duties for the therapy area to include clearing of equipment, clean up of treatment areas post provision of care.
- Assists in maintaining various supply levels.
- Other duties as assigned to include some clerical functions (answer phones, scheduling).
- Reports to Therapy Manager or Senior Therapist; supervised by Therpapists and Therapy Assistants.
- Supports all programs in the Rehabilitation Continuum including activities.
- Maintains working relationships with: Hospital leadership, physicians, nurses, case managers, social workers, allied health professionals, ancillary
services, and hospital support personnel.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education
