Responsibilities:
- Support on all related equipment trouble shooting and upgrading projects and related validation.
- Programming of PLCs, HMI touch panels, servo and robotized systems.
- Working with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and creation and/or modification of drawings for each of these systems.
- Data analysis for machine efficiency, scrap, and downtime.
- Support other technical areas as needed.
- Conducts equipment training.
- Troubleshoots and improves existing production equipment.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in applied science or equivalent experience with 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a highly automated environment, Vision systems and standard equipment knowledge required.
- The candidate should have experience on Automated Vision Systems (Keyence, Cognex, etc.), including inspection tools, troubleshooting and parametrization.
- This position requires programming and diagnostic experience with Siemens PLCs (S5 and S7), HMI touch panels, servo and robotized systems.
- Good knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and the ability to create or modify drawings for each of these systems.
- Familiarity with National Electrical Code regulations for wiring and conduit installation is also required.
- The candidate should have good understanding of networking and have experience creating automatically updated databases for storing machine efficiency, scrap and downtime.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills are required for this position.
- Demonstrates computer skills, including proficiency in Windows Operating Systems, Teams, MS Excel, and MSWord.
- Good Math Skills (Algebra or higher).
