Job description

Position Overview: The Process Engineer works closely with the Plant Superintendent to ensure the production of a quality product that meets or exceeds customer expectations. Duties And Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the Plant Superintendent, the Process Engineer responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following: Establish processing parameters that meet or exceed business objectives for cost, quality, and efficiency Collaborate with production teams and leadership to drive enhancements in productivity, safety and quality Guide operations in the evaluation of new production opportunities, improving existing operations, cost-saving ideas and troubleshooting issues. (Consumable reduction, spoilage reduction, Time savings, SOP's etc.) Monitor processes for effectiveness Collect and analyze process data Apply detailed, structured problem solving to correct process shortcomings.

Coordinate with Engineering and Operations to perform controlled experiments to correct or improve performance Support training activities including scheduling and executing of trainings of current and new employees.
