Labor Solutions has gained partnerships with multiple industrial companies that need our assistance with their hiring needs for their job opportunities. We are in search of a Process Engineer to join their team. Job location is FRANKLIN PARK.

The Process Engineer for the Franklin Park, IL plant is a member of the plant operations team and is responsible for evaluating processes and configuring manufacturing systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability. The Process Engineer will also oversee and improve production processes, apply engineering techniques to improve manufacturing efficiency.
To perform this role successfully, the following job competencies are required:
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing industry.
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Metal roll form and or a metal stamping is a plus.
- Six sigma green belt a plus.
- Troubleshoot issues and solve problems independently
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Support manufacturing for continuous improvement, quality issues on the floor related to the manufacturability of the product, new launches, engineering changes and lessons learned.
2. Development and implementation of engineering process control techniques and procedures.
3. Analysis of manufacturing processes (Process sheets, tools, Facility requirements, etc.
4. Create and change documentation of manufacturing processes.
5. Perform time studies like run and rate to determinate process variables like OEE, first time yield, etc.
6. Gather and analyze process data to make a positive impact in the process.
7. Confer with design engineers and purchasing in determining product specifications.
8. Review designs for manufacturing feasibility, suggest changes to the design to ensure product cost effectiveness.
9. Good working relationship and effective communication skills with vendors, team members, etc.
10. Apply and utilize manufacturing best practice for SAFETY, efficiency, quality and capability.
11. Completion of miscellaneous duties and projects as directed by your manager.
