Overview: Join our dynamic team as a Chain-Vey Sales Engineer, where you will drive product sales growth within defined market segments and territories. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, you will spearhead opportunities and automated solutions with medium and large companies, including Fortune 500 companies, in the food and chemical industries.
Technical Sales Representative: As a pivotal member of our team, you'll cultivate and manage a robust sales funnel, leveraging leads from our marketing initiatives and nurturing relationships with existing MPE clientele. Your responsibilities encompass the entire sales lifecycle: from engaging with prospective clients to understand their unique needs, conducting application tests in our cutting-edge lab, to crafting tailored solutions and facilitating successful closures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales presentations and demonstrations: Delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers.
- Understanding customer needs: Assessing customer needs and challenges and proposing solutions that align with their specific requirements.
- Proposal and contract creation: Developing proposals and negotiating contracts with customers.
- Sales cycle management: Managing the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to deal closure. Collaborate with Engineering to ensure seamless integration of client solutions from concept to reality. HubSpot CRM interface assists in keeping pipeline organized.
- Building industry relationships: Building strong relationships with customers, partners, and industry alliances.
- Manage assigned international rep offices: In addition to domestic direct sales responsibilities, MPE has ~15 international rep offices worldwide, some of which will be assigned to this role.
- Prospecting and lead generation: Identifying, qualifying, and pursuing potential customers and high value target accounts withing your territories and market segments.
- Trade Show Representation: Showcase MPE products at various trade shows - global and domestic.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in technical field or demonstrated technical interest and competence.
- Strong technical knowledge of equipment and automation solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- 2-5 years of sales experience, with a track record of exceeding sales goals.
- Strong customer relationship building skills.
Preferred Background:
- 3-5 years of experience in industrial equipment sales, demonstrating a proven track record of success.
- Familiarity with dry material processing, enriching your understanding of customer needs and industry dynamics.
- A team player at heart, demonstrating exceptional collaboration and communication skills.
