Adecco Permanent Placement has partnered with a leading manufacturing client to hire a Full-Time Process Engineer for their facility located in the Nashville, TN metro area.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Guiding engineering projects from start to finish, ensuring projects meet milestones, deadlines and requirements.
Supporting the design team and providing guidance through brainstorming, ideation, and conceptualization of the product
Planning improvement projects, determining project requirements and resources needed.
Engaging in industry groups and staying informed about new technologies, regulations, best practices, etc..
Establishing, implementing, and enforcing engineering standards and procedures.
Providing monthly progress and cost reports to senior management.
Performing various engineering tasks, providing support and resolution for manufacturing issues
Investigating component failures and addressing underlying issues
Leading project meetings and reports to update project status internally and externally.
Offering technical solutions for manufacturing or customer issues.
Performing other tasks as necessary.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
3+ years of experience in relevant engineering field
Experience leading projects and/or product development.
Knowledge of SAP, MRP systems, AutoCAD and CAE tools such as Solidworks, MATLAB, etc.
Experience in leading Kaizen/Continuous Improvement, root cause analysis, and other engineering functions.
