You should have experience working globally, with strong IT infrastructure knowledge (AV, Networking... etc) and background. Experience driving programs around continuous improvement, get to green projects, shift left and delivering true business intelligence via storytelling. This role will drive our top initiatives and most critical programs, aimed at operational consistency, efficiency, and best practice's. You will help drive efforts around onboarding new and exciting tools and process for our team while managing governance each month for performance and customer satisfaction. We obsess about the customer and you should be someone who strives for the best end user experience when setting strategy. Key job responsibilities
As the Principal Technical Infrastructure Program Manager for Global IT Infrastructure Operations, you will help define and drive strategic programs and initiatives, setting the organization up for future growth while driving continuous improvements in our operating model. This role is transformational, playing the key role in our efforts to create global operational consistency worldwide. Regional processes and tooling need to be transformed globally as we build a singular support organization. You will drive a commitment to quality within our organization, ensuring our processes deliver the intended outcomes the first time. As part of this role, you will drive our strategic rhythm of business (ROB) ensuring we stay connected with internal teams, partner teams, and leadership via business reviews. You will drive our operating plans, goals, and critical objectives of the organization, helping set north star themes and OKRs. Overall you will deliver Operational Excellence for Infrastructure Operations! This role is an individual contributor with the potential to move into people management as our organization grows. This role's scope is global across all Amazon corporate infrastructure.
About the team
The Corporate IT Infrastructure Operations team (IO) is focused on running Amazon's corporate campus & building infrastructure worldwide. This includes everything from wired and wireless networking to the AV systems in our conference rooms. Where there's technology at play in these buildings, our team is responsible for keeping it healthy and running as designed. We are passionate about the customer and making sure that Amazonians have the best possible experience while working from the office.
