As a Solution Architect, you are responsible for shaping the architectural vision, strategy & roadmap across the Priceline FinTech Business Unit.
You command a high level of technical expertise in various domains that brings inspiration and influence to the tech community. You are able to design large-scale architectures that affect the whole business unit and participate in defining the business unit strategy. You are a role model of coaching & mentoring for Architects across the company,
As a role model in communication, you act as a strong technical leader within the business unit who influences and partners with engineering teams, Finance business users, and Global Process Owners to design global architecture systems. You exercise judgment that favors the priorities of the wider organization rather than locally optimal outcomes
You address issues and problems that can impact Finance Systems and work with other Business Units from Priceline and other brands.
You apply company and tech community best practices while solving issues and designing new systems. You are able to enhance existing patterns to make them perfectly fit our context and define new best practices for the company.
Who you are:
There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, certain roles may be eligible for an annual bonus and/or equity grant.
The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $190,000 USD

Who you are:
- 10+ years of experience in Architecting SAP Solutions in corporate environments
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and modules, such as Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), BRIM (FI-CA), MDG, GRC
- S/4HANA Finance and Procurement, Technology & Integration
- Extensive knowledge of SAP implementation methodologies and SAP best practices
- Lead the Priceline/BHI SAP S/4HANA implementation from an architectural perspective and provide thought leadership to help transform the business with the SAP S/4HANA solution.
- At least 3 E2E SAP S/4HANA migration projects. Migration from Oracle is a plus.
- Knowledge of methodologies and tools for documentation, data migration, data quality, testing, and operational support
- Hands-on experience with third party modules like VIM, Ivalua.
- Understand the broader business context, market, and challenges, and help design solutions that align with business goals.
- Experience with SAP within a regulated environment (SOx) is a plus.
- Experience with integration patterns, architectures, and technologies, such as web services, BTP, Mulesoft, CPI, APIs, Convergent Mediation, and middleware
- Strong project management skills with effective communication and collaboration are a must.
- Should be able to articulate and demonstrate S4 functionalities, such as Fiori, Security Best Practices
- Ability to engage with Finance/Accounting topics with senior-level Accounting/Finance users, including Controllers/CFOs, and explain architectural decisions and best practices.
- Ability to review and advise on architectural decisions across all SAP workstreams; drive decisions and approval of business requirements and functional specifications, ensuring that pragmatic architecture
