Principal Business Intelligence Developer

Job Description
The Principal Business Intelligence Developer is part of the Data & Analytics Organization and reports to the Manager of Business Intelligence. This experienced professional is an expert at building Business Intelligence solutions and leads others by example by taking on the most complex projects and mentoring other teammates and end users. They work independently, possess strong communication skills, and business experiences. The principal developer will lead complex projects from inception to completion, modeling best practices in Business Intelligence for others within the organization. They will partner with other analytical functions such as the data engineering, data science, and data management teams to collectively build required solutions
Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in an analytical area such as MIS, Finance, or Business Analytics and 10 years of experience in reporting, analytics or business insights or a master's degree and 5+ years of experience in reporting, analytics, or business insights
• Must hold Alteryx Designer Advanced Certification
• Must hold Tableau Desktop Specialist Certification
• Must have some experience with PowerBI; PowerBI Certification is a plus
• Must have experience with cloud-based data sources, such as AWS or Clienture
• Excellent communication skills, including experience presenting to various levels of management
• Experience analyzing data to solve a wide variety of business problems
• Self-starter with strong time management and organizational skills
• Able to engage in consultative manner with management and other analysts when helping solve/manage content deliverables
• Able to work in ambiguous situations and respond flexibly to changing circumstances, priorities, and time constraints
• Team player with ability to collaborate with others
