Job Overview
Come join the CG TurboTax Analytics team as a Principal Business Analyst where you will be responsible for transforming how we forecast and project business outcomes. You will partner closely with senior leadership, customer & business strategy, finance, and cross-functional analytics teams to identify our biggest risks & opportunities and drive decisions that help TurboTax deliver on its business growth goals. To be successful, you’ll rely on a combination of strengths including predictive modeling, business acumen / analytics, and executive-level communication. This role will provide broad exposure to the entire business where you’ll become a subject matter expert on the customer and funnel dynamics behind a top brand and $3B+ business.

8+ years of experience in an Analytical, Finance, or similar role3+ years of analytics experience in a D2C business with strong understanding of customer retention and/or funnel data2+ years of experience building business forecasts and leveraging time series models (e.g. Facebook Prophet) Expertise in programming languages and stats packages (e.g. Python, R); comfortable creating re-usable data sets with high-quality dataFluency in data analysis, including defining KPIs, statistical and predictive modeling concepts, descriptive statistics, customer segmentation, and funnel analysisDemonstrates strong business acumen and curiosityOutstanding communication skills with the ability to interact with business leaders to make business recommendationsPassionate about mentoring others and the advancement of the teamGenuine customer empathy to find solutions to improve the lives of our customers
