Title: Business Data Analyst
Location: Remote (Los Angeles, CA)
6+ month contract
Must-Haves for Subject Expert in Dashboards:
- Experience with dashboard and BI reporting design, documentation, maintenance, implementation, upgrades, and dataset modeling from data sources.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Tableau, with more experience being advantageous.
- Optional but preferred: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with PowerBI.
- Superb UI/UX expertise, including the ability to create mockups and prototypes of BI models.
- Experience in system design, documentation, maintenance, implementation, upgrades, and troubleshooting, with at least 6 months of Qlik experience.
- Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL), specifically MS SQL Server and Oracle.
- Knowledge of the full software development cycle, programming, and documentation policies in software development, testing, and release.
- Ability to interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents.
- Familiarity with current data visualization standards and quality coding practices.
Functional/Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills with personnel at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficient in documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
Must Have:
Bachelor's degree required.
