Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement preventive and Behavioral Health programs to promote healthy lifestyles and behaviors, and to provide comprehensive health assessments in support of the OMS and related Human Reliability Program requirements for the DOE-Hanford.
- Manage Preventive and Behavioral Health Services staff including but not limited to addressing employee relations concerns, completing performance assessments, coordinating staffing to ensure access to care, and providing guidance and mentorship to employees.
- Conduct assessments to identify preventive and Behavioral Health needs and risk factors in individual Hanford employees and the Hanford workforce community.
- Gather and analyze data to monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that preventive health and behavioral services programs are integrated into the overall healthcare plan for individual employees and the OMS.
- Provide education campaigns to promote awareness of preventive and Behavioral Health topics. Conduct outreach to target populations within the Hanford workforce.
- Develop and manage a budget for preventive and Behavioral Health Services programs.
- Maintain accurate records and data related to preventive and Behavioral Health Services programs.
- Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, research, and trends in preventive and Behavioral Health to ensure compliance and quality of services.
Requirements
Education/Experience
Required:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Knowledge of healthcare policies, regulations, and best practices related to preventive and Behavioral Health Services.
- Strong understanding of Behavioral Health issues, prevention strategies, and evidence-based interventions.
Desired:
- Three (3) years previous experience managing preventive and/or Behavioral Health staff (or similar) in a clinical setting.
- A certification/certificate in "teaching", "counseling", "health promotion" or other related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating preventive and Behavioral Health programs.
Skills/Training
Required:
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and in producing promotional/marketing materials.
Desired:
- Data collection and analysis skills.
- Crisis intervention and counseling experience.
Must be U.S. Citizenship or National and have ability to successfully obtain necessary security clearance.

$93,000 - $113,000 commensurate with experience
