Job Description
- Perform benchtop tests on test samples: Mating Durability, Mating, and Un-mating Force, Shell to Shell Conductivity, Contact Resistance, Coupling Torque/Uncoupling Torque, etc.
- Hydrostatic Pressure testing on connector and cable assemblies routinely up to 15kspi and beyond.
- Programming and utilization of specialized test equipment: temperature/humidity chambers, universal tensile testers, Hi-Pot testers, etc.
- Perform testing in accordance API-17
- Additionally, perform testing in accordance with internal procedures governed by the quality management system.
- Accurately record test data into specialized datasheets for test report creation and final delivery to customers.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- GED required bachelor's degree preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.
- Excellent report and technical document writing skills.
- Impeccable communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Excellent skills with Windows Microsoft Office including Word and excel – must be able to chart and graph trends, create metrics, and track and monitor data.
- Excellent mathematical abilities.
- Ability to work independently to create and deliver results.
- 5+years of testing experience in Pressure Testing.
