Job Description
Summary
This is a closing position (12p-6p) Monday through Friday with preschool.
Muddy Feet Early Learning is a place of acceptance and peace, expansive wonder, and holistic faith. We believe children thrive best in an environment where they feel safe, supported, and encouraged to be themselves. Using familiar characters and beloved superheroes as models, we want to help children understand that good people are everywhere and come in all shapes and sizes. Our teachers share their lifelong journey to learn and model the desire to be curious and ask questions. In addition to prayers and verses, the teachers share stories about Jesus and the Saints as examples of real people who loved, gave, and grew themselves and others.
Our weekly curriculum is developed around the children's needs, skills, and interests. We do not have a themed curriculum, but many special days are planned throughout the year. We value social-emotional learning, process art, and messy risky play.
We are currently hiring lead and assistant teachers to open more classrooms. We want to add teachers to our team who are responsible, dependable, and want to grow as an early childhood educator. The state has resources available for teachers who want to obtain their CDA or complete college classes for an Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education.
At this time, we do not have openings for children.
