Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children and providing them with a strong foundation for their educational journey. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development
- Create a nurturing and safe environment for children to learn and grow
- Provide individualized attention to each child, addressing their unique needs and abilities
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities
- Use effective behavior management techniques to encourage positive behavior and create a positive classroom environment
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians on a regular basis
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and any incidents that occur during the school day
- Stay up-to-date with current educational practices and trends in early childhood education
Requirements:
- CDA is required, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Proficiency in curriculum development and implementation
- Familiarity with physical education, math concepts, and special education strategies is a plus
