Prep Cook/Dishwasher

IHOP is looking for a Prep Cook to join our team in Calhoun, GA.

Duties:

• Prepare food to server standards by following recipes, using proper portion sizes, and following proper portion control.
• Set up and stock stations for meals.
• Take and check food orders, portioning, and serving.
• Clean up station and take down products used for meals.
• Work as a team with a focus on sanitation, quality control, and food safety standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills:

• Experience working in a restaurant or other similar environment preferred.
• Knowledge of kitchen sanitation procedures, equipment operation and well-balanced kitchen food supplies inventory.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a multi-tasking attitude.
• Ability to work in a team with a focus on quality control.
• Strong communication skills with team members to ensure all food and team functions are running smoothly.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to work standing for 8-10 hours.
