Solution Engineer - End User Computing Business Unit
The Elevator Pitch: Why will you enjoy this new opportunity?
Working with the Commercial End User Computing Solution Engineering team you will be connected with a group dedicated to growth, learning and support. You will work closely with VMware's suite of cutting-edge enterprise technologies, modern business solutions and end user products such as Horizon and Workspace One. The EUC SE is responsible for discovery of customer needs, architecting and demonstrating the value of VMware solutions, and prescribing implementation roadmaps for long term success. As part of this team, you will work closely with sales, marketing, and product management teams to build and sustain customer relationships while driving the adoption of VMware solutions. The SE is a high impact, very visible role responsible for ensuring adoption of VMware software and solutions and closing enterprise transactions within assigned accounts.
Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?
• Within the first 3 months in role, you will be engaged in a variety of enablement and training designed to help you achieve proficiency in various technologies and concepts necessary for the role including:
• End User Computing product knowledge and implementation
• Networking and troubleshooting skills across the end user computing ecosystem
• Oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities
• Problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Shadowing SE team member calls
• Within the first 6 months in role, you will begin working with assigned territory account executives leading technical validation efforts for customers and broadening your network and reach within the organization
• Within 9-12 months you will be proficient in leading technical validations efforts for customers across the End User Computing solutions and begin to engage in additional projects to enhance your personal growth and expand your contribution throughout the organization
The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
• You will join sales teams in leading customers through architecture and discovery calls in the pre-sales process to determine interest and viability of solving customer problems leveraging leading edge End User Computing VMware solutions.
• You will lead in depth product demos and proof of concepts for customers, highlighting key product features, benefits and capabilities. Demonstrate the versatility and value of EUC solutions. Collaborate with broader account teams to help customers visualize the full value across the
VMware solution portfolio.

Where is this role located?
This role is fully remote and can be done anywhere in the United States. Central and Eastern time zone strongly preferred. Options for in-person are available if candidate is near an office location but is not required. 50% travel required.

For US based candidates, the annual pay range (OTE for commissioned roles; Salary for other roles) for this position is: $200,000 - $360,000. The actual offer will be based on the role, location, and individual candidate experience. Bonus, commission, and/or equity may be eligible for this position.
