We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pre-K Teacher to join our team. As a Pre-K Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children and preparing them for their educational journey. Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities to promote the physical, cognitive, and social development of preschool-aged children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and engagement
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain order and discipline
- Assess individual student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians
- Develop and implement curriculum enhancements
- Incorporate physical education activities into daily routines to promote gross motor skills development
- Provide one-on-one tutoring or additional support to students as needed
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic progress
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare or educational setting
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Ability to effectively manage classroom behavior and implement behavior management strategies when necessary
