Elementary Lead Teacher for 2024-25
Episcopal School of Nashville is seeking an exceptional Elementary Lead Teacher for the 2024-2025 academic school year. The position is full-time and exempt.
Episcopal School’s Lower School team fosters a learning environment centered on high academic standards, innovation, creativity, and personal attention. Teachers work as a close-knit team to support each other and collaborate on curriculum development to ensure appropriate vertical alignment and consistency. During the August in-service in 2024, all teachers at ESN will receive an intensive four day training in Responsive Classroom. All candidates must be willing to embrace and implement the Responsive Classroom approach to teaching and learning.

A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Elementary Education. Experience in curriculum development, at least three years of full-time lower school teaching experience, and a master’s degree are preferred. Comfort and familiarity with the use of relevant technology to enhance learning are also essential.
