Practice Manager

Offit Kurman, a fast-growing full-service law firm, is seeking a strategic Practice Manager for our Landlord Representation (LLR) practice group. The ideal candidate is an experienced, highly organized professional with project management experience, and is a problem-solver willing to do as well as manage others.

The Practice Manager is responsible for 10-12 Litigation Support Specialists (LSS) and the day-to-day performance of the LLR non-attorney team to efficiently and effectively service the needs of our clients, our attorneys, and our firm. The Practice Manager will play an instrumental role in optimizing the group's performance and success.

Responsibilities include the following:

• Managing the performance of LSS staff including delegating work assignments, coaching, workflow, quality assurance, performance appraisals, and performance measurement
• Designing and developing training protocols for new LSSs
• Training new team members and new clients on relevant software
• Facilitate automation and process improvement procedures

Desired Qualifications:

• Relevant management experience in a professional services setting
• Ability to interact effectively with employees being supervised, attorneys, and clients
• Ability to analyze financial and other performance data
• Experience with creating and documenting effective business processes and procedures
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Further Information:

• Limited travel within the firm's MD offices with possible supervision of remote employees
• In-office work required for first 90 days, thereafter consideration for hybrid/in-office schedule
