We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and goal-oriented Practice Managerto join the team! This position will oversee 3-5 clinics in the Bethesda, MD regionand will have operational oversight and responsibility for all non-provider staff ensuring all patients receive high-quality and efficient care.

The Practice Manager will report to a Regional Manager of Operations and our VP of Operations. This position will require travel 90% of the time or more as needed to the designated 3-5 AllCare clinics in the region.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides management, guidance, and training to Medical Assistants and all clinical non-provider staff. Fills in for staff as needed to ensure business continuity.
• Builds a high performing team ensuring employees are engaged, challenged and efficient in carrying out job responsibilities.
• Interviews, hires, and onboards team members.
• Assists in obtaining staffing coverage and schedule creation.
• Monitors compliance with all clinical policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Performance management including coaching/counseling and delivering corrective action.
• Ensures proper supply and inventory levels, including weekly supply ordering of office and medical supplies.
• Completes weekly site visits; addresses any issues with confidentiality and discretion.
• Assists AllCare leadership in planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring quality control and quality assessments.
• Partners with Physicians and APPs to assist with day-to-day operations and needs.

What we are looking for:

• 3+ years of healthcare management experience is required.
• Medical Assistant or clinical background preferred.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to supervise, motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to seek input from team members and follow through on commitments.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and evolving environment while being resilient and flexible.
• Working knowledge of payroll and scheduling.
• Strong computer skills – Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Possess a general knowledge of Electronic Medical Record systems (EMR).
• Understanding of HIPAA, OSHA and other state/federal healthcare requirements and regulations.
