We are offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Marketing and PR Intern, dedicated to gaining hands-on experience in the publishing industry.
Responsibilities:
Assist in Developing and Implementing Marketing Strategies: Work closely with the marketing team to execute comprehensive marketing plans for our books.
Support in creating and managing promotional campaigns.
Media Relations: Assist in building relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
Contribute to pitching and securing coverage for our books in various media.
Social Media Assistance: Support the management and growth of our social media presence on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Contribute to content creation and engagement strategies.
Events Support: Assist in the planning and execution of book launch events, author signings, and promotional activities.
Contribute to coordinating participation in literary festivals, conferences, and industry events.
Content Creation Assistance: Assist in producing press releases, promotional materials, and author bios.
Collaborate with authors to contribute to content for blog posts, interviews, and other media opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate with a degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong interest in book marketing and PR, preferably with some relevant coursework or experience.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and an eagerness to learn digital marketing trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
