The PR & Communications Internwill be a student pursuing a bachelor’s degree within Marketing, Communications, or a related field. The assignments in the summer internship program will provide valuable exposure and experience within the Consumer Goods industry and in a cross-functional integrated Marketing team. Some of the internship duties will include:

• Assisting the brand team with key aspects of brand management, with a focus on PR strategy and agency collaboration
• Supporting in the management of PIM Brands’ corporate communication channels across LinkedIn, corporate website, and employee resource portal
• Bringing forward new ideas and marketing concepts to help drive brand growth for all brands across the PIM portfolio

Qualifications:

• Rising Junior or Senior in college/university, pursuing bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Strong business acumen and analytical ability
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and organization skills and demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships
• Self-motivated and action-oriented
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Understanding of social media platforms
• Demonstrated personal and professional values

Required Skills/Experience:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as effective problem solving and organizational skills.
• Have access to housing and reliable transportation.
• Able to work a 40-hour week, beginning June 3rd, 2024.
• Must be able to work in the office Monday thru Thursday; Work from Home Friday 

It would be sweet if you also had:

• Knowledge of and passion for the specific business you are interested in at PIM Brands  
• Strong passion for and knowledge of the Food and CPG industry
• Leadership experience on or off campus
