VISION
Sellmark Corporation seeks a dynamic and creative PR and Content Marketing Specialist to join our team. This multifaceted role involves managing public relations, content creation, social media, and community engagement for several distinct entities. These include Sellmark Corporation (B2B, B2G, Manufacturing, and Technology) and other entities within the company, including the Grand View Event Center, Sellmark Ranch, and the forthcoming Heritage Innovation Center.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS
- Public Relations: Develop and execute PR strategies for each entity. Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, manage press releases, and handle crisis communication.
- Content Creation: Generate engaging content for websites, blogs, and marketing materials. Ensure content aligns with each entity's brand and marketing goals.
- Social Media Management: Create and implement social media strategies. Manage social media accounts, engage with followers, and track performance metrics.
- Community Engagement: Foster strong community relations through events, sponsorships, and partnerships. Enhance brand visibility and reputation within the community.
ENTITIES OVERVIEW
- Sellmark Corporation: Oversee corporate communications and B2B relationships.
- Grand View Event Center: Promote as a prime location for corporate events, weddings, and social gatherings.
- Sellmark Ranch: Highlight guided hunting experiences, lodging, and hospitality services.
- Heritage Innovation Center: Create buzz around this upcoming venture focused on retail, manufacturing, and technology.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in PR, Content Marketing, social media management, and community relations/outreach.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in or ability to learn our tech stack: Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Meta Business, Canva, CRM (HubSpot), and PMS (Asana).
- Creative and strategic thinker.
- An implementor and problem solver, with a bias towards action.
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
- Passionate about storytelling and brand building.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- You know the difference between writing and copywriting.
- Genuine love for the person who coined the “$1.80” strategy is a major plus.
WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS
Main hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm.
Schedules will vary depending on business needs, and may entail working nights, weekends and holidays. Must be flexible to work outside of normal departmental operating hours.
