Under general supervision, the Content Specialist is responsible for content planning, which includes content creation, curation, planning, and research. As a specialist, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders and brainstorm creative and strategic ways of engaging prospects and customers to produce various relevant content types. This role requires strong multitasking and organizational skills - you will have to handle several types of projects and people regularly. Deep understanding of content strategy is a plus.
- Create web content that aligns with the brand, strategic objectives, and adds value to existing and prospective customers
- Drive inbound traffic to company's website through various digital marketing and traditional marketing content and channels
- Implement SEO and customer engagement best practices across various content types
- Champion content governance guidelines for tone, style, and voice of all content, and ensure they are followed through training and oversight
- Scale content across channels and audiences
- Conduct periodic content audits and ensure that content strategy meets business objectives
Requirements
- Completion of a high school diploma.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Marketing or Communications, which includes high-level project management experience.
- An associate or undergraduate degree in marketing or communications, and experience in Halliburton is preferred.
