Audubon Engineering Company (Audubon) is looking for an experienced B2B Content Marketing Specialist to join our growing marketing team. This position will serve as writing, editing, and project management support for a variety of internal and external communications. Our ideal candidate is an individual with exceptional writing skills, a strategic and research mindset, and a get-it-done attitude who is excited to dive into complex topics and help bring them to life. Core responsibilities include planning-development-organization and writing-editing-proofing for web marketing content, social media, articles, press releases, blogs, case studies, industry white papers, videos, presentations, and trade show materials.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborate with the communications manager and marketing director to ensure defined goals and objectives are achieved
  • Support development and creation of dynamic content assets that differentiate our brand in the market, effectively communicate value propositions, and attract, nurture, and convert leads
  • Understand and apply business objectives in content development
  • Conduct content strategy research, including market, industry, buyer persona, and competition
  • Write-edit-proof copy for a variety of communication channels including blog articles, case studies, new product/service offering descriptions, web copy, social media, advertisements, press releases, trade articles, and other publications targeted to internal and external B2B audiences/personas
  • Work with executives, SMEs, and sales and business development teams to gain industry-specific insights and craft well-structured, easy-to-read content that make complex topics digestible and understandable
  • Multitask efficiently to manage/organize content assets, update project workflows, and perform content maintenance
  • Organize material and complete projects according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, consistency, style, terminology, grammar, punctuation, and spelling
  • Maintain content development research records, reports, and files
  • Maintain corporate style and support implementation of standard protocols for all content assets
  • Participate in cross-functional work teams to develop content strategies and produce high-quality marketing assets
  • Adhere to corporate brand identity guidelines and help promote uniformity and consistency of brand
  • Maintain inventory and directory of sales support materials; ensure all content assets are accurate and current, and support development of new material
  • Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field
  • 2+ years of professional writing/editing experience
  • Experience in EPC industry a plus, but not required
  • Exceptional writing-editing-proofing skills, as well as the ability to adapt the style, tone, and voice of our business' various types of content
  • Experience in meeting/interviewing stakeholders or subject-matter experts to gather relevant information to draft copy/content
  • Experience in storytelling through multiple content types and communications channels; ability to modify and maximize content for each specific channel used
  • Exceptional grammatical and technical writing skills, including copy proofing
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects
  • Familiarity with SEO implementation
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; ability to easily and quickly learn other platforms used by the marketing team for project management, file-sharing, etc.
