Scope of Position

PowerFlex, an EDF Renewables company, is a leading national provider of intelligent onsite energy solutions that support carbon-free electrification and transportation. Through the comprehensive PowerFlex X platform, PowerFlex leverages patented smart software to control, monitor, and optimize a client's distributed energy resources to reduce cost and maximize return on investment.

 

 

We are looking for a full-time Incentive Coordinator to join PowerFlex's Incentives Department under Asset Management. The Incentive Coordinator will work collaboratively across the organization to manage electric vehicle ("EV") and storage incentive revenues through participation in various federal and state incentive programs.  They will ensure compliance with all incentive program requirements by organizing asset data into systems such as Salesforce, SharePoint, ClickUp, and Excel.  The Incentive Coordinator is extremely detail oriented and has a desire to learn about newly available incentive programs along with the processes involved in collecting revenue from active applications. This is a great opportunity for someone beginning a career in renewable energy to be involved in upcoming opportunities and developments in the EV market.

 

Responsibilities

60% - Administration & Operations

  • Organize data for active applications through organizing documentation and communicating with stakeholders to find accurate information for active and upcoming incentive applications
  • File and conduct quality-check on relevant paperwork with granting authorities
  • Create internal incentive scopes for other departments to learn about the funding, rules, and responsibilities for incentive programs PowerFlex participates in
  • Coordinate across all departments to fulfill program requirements
  • Ensure completion of all required compliance items to receive incentive revenue

 

30% - Business Development

  • Research and present new incentive opportunities to increase revenue in core markets
  • Complete pre-application processes for upcoming core incentive programs, which includes cross collaboration with the legal and product team to determine eligibility
  • Work closely with sales staff on incentive pipeline and customer development

 

10% - Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education/Experience -

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, environmental policy, renewable energy, or related fields
  • Database experience (Salesforce preferred) and willing to learn others
  • Looking for United States based candidates

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities -

  • 1-2 years of experience in a sustainability or renewable energy field preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and complete tasks efficiently
  • Self-starter who can complete tasks and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Ability to take initiative ownership even in unfamiliar territory
  • Passionate about renewable energy
  • Competent knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Previous experience with Click-Up a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others

 

 

The hourly compensation estimate for this role is within the range of $27.00 to $44.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, business needs, and other job-related factors permitted by law. If you are someone outside of this range who is interested in this opportunity, we would still encourage you to apply.
