What you will be doing:

• Responsible for the oversight of the various compliance programs (Lending/Deposit) at Jovia. Works to ensure the credit union remains compliant with all regulations and mitigates potential liabilities. 
• Provides daily compliance guidance and direction to departments and branches, including but not limited to the review and drafting documents in accordance with our established procedures.  Responds to compliance inquires within established service levels to maintain operational excellence.  
• Reviews and provides compliance guidance to all Marketing materials (paper/website) to ensure proper adherence to various regulations and disclosure requirements. 
• Knowledge of member eligibility requirements /screening practices and NCUA rules and regulations 
• Assist with the coordinate of the Vendor Management process for the credit union. To include and not limited to alerting business owners of open task to closing out of non-active vendors. 
• Coordinate with Accounting on OFAC scrubs for vendor onboarding  
• Knowledge of various lending regulations, such as RESPA, HMDA, SCRA, FCRA, ECOA, TILA 
• Knowledge of various depository regulations, such as Reg E, Reg CC, Truth in Savings, Esign, UDAAP 

What we need from you:

• A College degree from four-year College/university or 3-4 years Deposit/Lending regulatory experience; depository & lending regulatory certificates are a plus.  
• PC literacy is required, including Microsoft Word and Excel skills.  
• Good verbal and written communication skills reflecting a positive attitude are critical to success in this position.   
• A confident professional, who is detail oriented with the ability to multitask and work autonomously and/or with a team as required.  
• Willing to work flexible hours when required, exhibit a cooperative spirit, willingness to work as part of a team, and a commitment to member service. 
•  Estimated salary range for this position - $53,318.- $62,727

• All equipment will be provided by Jovia (Computer, Monitor, Headset).
