Duties
Responsible for all activities within the swimming pool area. Responsible for supervising all lifeguards and cashiers. Supervises all pool areas including bathhouse, deck, lockers, showers, etc. to ensure compliance with established schedules, instructions and sanitation requirements. Develops work schedules and submits timesheets for accurate payroll payments. Develops and maintains ongoing in-service training for all employees. Applies established safety requirements. Maintains currency and applies a variety of techniques such as rescuer breathing, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and first aid as required to respond to any type of safety incident. Monitors and documents pool water chemistry (temperature, free chlorine, pH, clarity) according to guidelines. Works non-regular shifts including nights and weekends. Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
  • This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations.
  • This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent must pass a pre-employment drug test and is subject to random drug testing.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license, a good driving record and be able to drive.
  • Must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Must be able to lift and carry 45 pounds.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Qualifying Experience:
Must have the ability to supervise. Must have current and valid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Professional Rescue (PR) and First Aid certificates. Water Safety Instructor Certificate and American Red Cross Lifeguard Certifications is desirable. All certifications must remain current during the period of employment. Must have experience in cash handling.
