The Field Development & Training Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs, policies, and procedure modules for rollout to fulfill those needs and enhance the knowledge, skills, and capabilities of our employees. This will be a hands-on trainer that will require much travel to ensure compliance. The Field Development & Training Manager will be responsible for identifying training needs based on skills gap analyses and develop group and individual learning courses.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver training to staff related to project management processes and procedures.
- Provide oversight to vendors as they develop solution-specific training.
- Coordinate with vendors to develop and deliver training to staff.
- Coordinate training using a training calendar.
- Develop and propose methods of knowledge transfer (training, coaching, materials, etc.) to build development skills through organization. Communication, scripting, technical, and operational effectiveness training to improve organizational talent.
- Coordinate with team, client and vendors to develop competency, skills, and tools necessary to develop sustainable project management and technical capabilities.
- Develop and deliver training at branch level.
- Monitor training effectiveness.
- Travel to various regions to support branches, up to 50% overnight travel.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education, Licensure and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years of experience in training and development.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering effective training programs, utilizing a variety of training methodologies and technologies.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and training methods.
- Pool services industry experience required.
Competencies/Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data driven mindset to assess training effectiveness.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders/leaders at all levels in the organization.
- Requires professionalism, attention to detail, great attitude, and outstanding presentation skills. Strong Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications (ie: Outlook Email, Word, Excel, Teams).
- Ability to deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs via screen share software and dual monitors.
Starting Salary for this position: $70-80k/year with a potential bonus based on successful achievement of set standards and metrics.
