Software Resources has an immediate, long term contract job opportunity for a PMO Change Manager with a major corporation in Burbank, CA. On-site 4 days per week.
We are looking for a true Organizational Change Management (OCM) resource to lead change management for PMO process definition and training. We are not looking for Program Managers who have rolled out Change Management for their respective projects.
19 month contract
Pay Rate:
$90-$97/hr DOE
Description:
In this newly created role to support the Technology PMO Center of Excellence (COE), the PMO Change Manager will partner across the organization to continue the development, continuous improvement, and roll-out of change methodologies, tools, templates at an enterprise level to drive the adoption and maturity of PMO processes, standards, and tools improvements and offer predictable delivery of programs and projects for our organization. The Technology PMO Change Manager will be the catalyst to drive best practices to support our overall objective to streamline, advance, and accelerate new and existing technology PMO processes. The ideal candidate will be an expert in change management and have proven project management experience, who can establish relationships quickly, has excellent communication skills, loves to solve problems, draft content, and plans, assess, and coordinate changes, and implement with various partners throughout the organization. The role is an excellent opportunity to lead all aspects of changes that impact technology project management processes across Enterprise Technology. The Technology Project Management Office (PMO) Change Lead works in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and reports to Enterprise Technology, PMO Senior Manager, Technology Processes and Tools

Basic Qualifications:
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement change management strategies aligned with PMO organizational goals, including strategy and execution to support process and system adoption, including stakeholder engagement, training, communications, and sustaining change over time
  • Assess the impact of changes and develop plans to mitigate implications and risks Identify and engage key stakeholders throughout the change process
  • Build relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of PMO change initiatives
  • Oversee the development of change management execution plans and ensure the plans stay aligned with the scope and timeline of the organization
  • Develop governance framework for PMO process and tools change assessments in alignment with PMO goals
  • Create and deliver communication plans to keep teams informed and engaged throughout the change process.
  • Coach and mentor project managers on change management and support teams navigating change
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align and integrate processes and routines.
  • Cultivate a culture of change, collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability.
  • Identify process and practice improvements in the project management environment and drive initiatives to mature project management services (e.g., artifacts standardization, onboarding process, etc.)
  • Monitor deliverables (e.g., Change Impact Analysis), milestones, and progress in partnership with the Program PMO, including measuring impact of change
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and effectiveness of change initiatives. Inject best practices relevant to context, collaborating with subject matter experts as needed
  • Act as the primary point of contact for program leadership on PMO Process & Tools Change management
  • Build and manage stakeholder engagement plans across Project Management Office (PMO), Finance, Demand Management Resource Allocation (DMRA), Business Operations (BOT), HR and other Program stakeholders
  • Set appropriate, consistent change management documentation standards and monitor that they are adhered to
  • Proactively identifies and resolves change management impacts and risks to project management processes that span across multiple cross-functional teams
  • Report progress and status to executive leadership
  • Expert facilitator who can lead meetings and large workshops, driving commitments, accountability, and deliverables
  • Meet regularly with cross-pillar teams to solicit feedback to drive the adoption of project management processes and tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align and integrate processes and routines
Project Management Communications
  • Oversee the development of communications and training strategies and execution (ie, topics, materials, audiences, channels, distribution) for changes to PMO processes and tools
  • Engage with communication executives as necessary
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop effective communication content for the targeted audience, applying best practices in the context
  • Report progress and status to the program leadership
Project Management Learning
  • Design, develop, and oversee the development of a training strategy and execution (ie, content, materials, audiences, platforms, delivery) for PMO Processes and Tools to equip employees with the skills and knowledge required for successful change adoption
  • Coordinate input and sign-off on deliverables from program, business, and enterprise stakeholders
  • Engage with learning executives as necessary
  • Recommend post-go-live training sustainment plan
  • Set appropriate, consistent training documentation standards and monitor that they are adhered to
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop effective training content for the targeted audience, applying the context
  • Report progress and status to the program leadership
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in leading organizational change management projects
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing projects in a large matrix technology organization
  • Ability to develop, lead, and implement right-size change management solutions across cross-functional teams
  • OCM Certification Prosci, CCMP, or similar industry-recognized certification
  • Ability to work in ambiguous situations
  • Advanced organizational skills to track, manage, and easily report on change projects
Learning and Development experience
  • Expert written and verbal skills, can summarize complex ideas in a way that is easy to understand by non-experts
  • Excellent grammar skills and experience with copy editing, along with an eye for design
  • Demonstrated ability in managing large-scale communication strategies and projects.
  • A self-motivated, natural leader who can manage multiple work streams and workloads to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment.
  • Ability to translate complex concepts and ideas into concise and engaging content for various audiences and voices.
  • Well-organized and trustworthy with a high level of discretion.
  • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and other technology solutions for communication needs
  • Strong communication, prioritization, influencing and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and lead multiple tasks and teams simultaneously
  • Demonstrate experience working in a matrix environment managing multiple stakeholders, and have a leadership presence
  • Experience with conducting research, quantitative analysis, and presenting analytical findings to internal and external stakeholders, including team members, clients, and executives
  • Proven experience working with customers to develop solutions to complex business problems.
Required Education
  • BA/BS in Business, Organizational Psychology, computer science preferred or related field; Master's degree preferred.
