The PM Service Manager will be responsible for creating a positive Member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Legends Barbell members, prospective members, and guests.

  • Please note: This position does require working on some holidays and will be working weekend shifts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • PM Service Manager's shift schedule is 2pm- 11pm.
  • Greets and farewells each Member, prospective Members, and Guests in a welcoming and energetic manner upon entry and exit in most cases learning member names
  • Handles all Service Representative-related activities including:
  • Check members into the system and verify Account Status
  • Quickly and accurately execute all club transactions, including Merchandise, Snacks, Beverages, and Supplements
  • Handling Cash and accurately accounting transactions
  • Upselling products and services to Members
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy environment, both behind and in front of the Service Desk
  • Handle all Service Desk-related activities including:
  • Receive incoming phone calls in a professional, enthusiastic, and friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions
  • Check members into the system and verify Account Status
  • New Member sign-up and 7-day Trial eligibility verification
  • Take prospective Members on tours
  • Handling Cancellation of Memberships
  • Facilitate needed updates to Member’s accounts
  • Complete Guest Pass verification
  • Maintain high visibility throughout the Club
  • Set the positive energy and tone of the Club
  • Maintain our levels of cleanliness and organization of all areas in the Club
  • Ensure the safety of Members, Guests, and Team
  • Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to Club Director and Billing Team as needed
  • Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the Club
  • Assist in maintaining the wellness of the Club by completing routine checks and enforcement of rules
  • Have a thorough understanding of overall club systems and operations, and enforce procedures and policies
  • Able to multi-task and excel in a busy environment
  • Ability to work and function in a team environment

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Customer service background preferred
  • Flexible to work early mornings, day, evening, and/or weekend hours as needed
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • A passion for fitness and health
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, friendly attitude!
  • Punctuality and reliability are a must
  • Possess honesty and personal integrity
  • Able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers
  • Willingness to work flexibly in response to changing organizational requirements
  • Ability to enjoy working with a diverse range of people
  • Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve
  • Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks on a continuous basis
  • Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language
  • High School diploma/GED equivalent required
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ENVIRONMENT

  • Must be able to work in an environment with occasionally high noise levels. The sound of weights clinking, feet flying across treadmills, hype music, and the laughter of lives changing can get loud
  • Continual standing and walking during shift
  • Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
  • Will occasionally encounter toxic chemicals during shifts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $19.00 per hour
