The Government Services Capture Manager (“Manager”) position is a key element of the company’s business development strategy. The Manager will ensure that their assigned geographical market(s) meet and exceed the organization's Government Services sales and retention goals.
The successful candidate will leverage and implement tools and tactics directly influencing the achievement of above-plan performance. The Manager is expected to accomplish exceptional results under meticulous standards. Manager will execute a detail focused, highly collaborative, strategic role that enables new sales and customer retention. This individual will be tenacious and effective at securing qualified opportunities, prospect meetings, forging long-term relationships, and driving sales process excellence to exceed internal and external customer expectations.
The Manager reports to a Vice President of Business Development. This highly collaborative role will also partner with the Regional Vice President, General Managers, Business Development Directors, and Business Development Managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture, qualify, classify, and plan for state and local government facility service opportunities prior to RFPs being released
- Organize meetings with key government stakeholders and decision makers and the local business development and operations teams prior to RFPs being released
- Develop government RFP proposal responses with input from stakeholders
- Develop and finalize pricing strategies with input from stakeholders
- Own and facilitate government re-bids with the local operations team
- Identify, join, and coordinate participation in associations that include key government buyers and influencers (airports, seaports, library systems, parks and recreation, administration, purchasing, chambers of commerce, etc.)
- Assist with non-government technical and high-value proposals and pricing as assigned by VPBD and RVP
Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
- Proven experience in government sales, sales enablement, and capture management
- Three-plus years of B2B service industry experience with a demonstrated ability in moving opportunities into new sales
- Demonstrated experience in generating winning proposals and developing pricing strategies for opportunities in excess of $2M of annual revenue

Salary Range - $80,000 - $85,000 plus commission
