Description:
- Leverage your expertise to create precise technical drawings, adhering to specifications and calculations for various plumbing projects.
- Utilize CAD like Revit and Navisworks to prepare both preliminary sketches and detailed work, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Perform calculations for materials and weight limitations to support the plumbing design process.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering team, preparing, reviewing, and refining designs to meet project requirements.
- Verify final designs for compliance and clashes with all relevant building codes and regulations, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.
- Proactively identify and communicate potential design challenges to the rest of the team, contributing to timely and effective problem-solving.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years Revit or Navisworks experience for plumbing design and drafting.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing principles, materials, and installation techniques.
- Associates degree, technical certification or equivalent professional experience
- Piping layout and plumbing code knowledge
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with architects, engineers, and fellow team members.
