POSITION SUMMARY
The Kitchen and Bath Designer will create functional and aesthetically pleasing cabinet designs for various spaces, such as kitchens, bathrooms, offices, and other residential or commercial areas in the ProKitchen/ 2020 design software. Duties will include Client Consultation, Space Assessment, Material Selection, Cost Estimation, Client Presentation, Project Management, and Quality Control. In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have design experience, a combination of creativity, technical skills, and superb interpersonal skills.

OBJECTIVES
- Deliver cabinet designs that meet or exceed client expectations in terms of functionality and aesthetics.
- Complete projects within established timelines and budgets.
- Foster positive client relationships and generate repeat business and referrals.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their design preferences, budget constraints, and functional requirements for cabinetry.
- Measure and assess the available space to determine the layout and dimensions for the cabinet design.
- Create initial design concepts that include cabinet styles, materials, finishes, and color schemes, keeping in mind the client's vision and requirements.
- Utilize computer-aided design 2020 software to develop detailed 3D models and floor plans of the cabinet design, providing clients with visual representations.
- Choose appropriate materials, hardware, and accessories that meet the client's preferences, quality standards, and budget.
- Work closely with the sales department to facilitate the sales process
- Present design concepts to clients and make necessary adjustments based on their feedback and preference
- Manage multiple cabinet design projects simultaneously, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.
- Address and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the design or installation process

- Design Skills: Proficiency in creating innovative and visually appealing cabinet designs while maximizing space utility.
- Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of 2020 software and the ability to create accurate and detailed 3D models.
- Product Knowledge: Familiarity with a wide range of cabinet materials, hardware, finishes, and accessories.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for client consultations, presentations, and collaboration with other professionals.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for precision and quality in both design and construction.
- Time Management: Efficiently manage time to meet project deadlines and schedules.
- Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing design preferences and industry trends.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design
- At least 2-5 years of work experience in Kitchen and Bath design
- Remodeling/ Construction experience is a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
