About This Role:
In this role you will perform inspections, evaluations, diagnostics, repairs and preventive maintenance of pump motor repair and replacement, motor control systems, domestic water and pool filtration piping, components, and fixtures; replace shaft seals, bearings, impellers, etc. of motors up to 30HP and pumps up to 1650GPM.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or G.E.D. and 2 years of related experience in plumbing.
Preferences:
- Familiarity with computers and ability to use a computerized maintenance management system.
- Commercial Plumbing experience, to include septic and circulation systems, pumps, wells, filter systems, chemical controllers, and injectors.
- Knowledge of backflow testing, repairs and/or certifications.
- Experience in other trades- such as carpentry, pool and HVAC.
- Experience with mechanical/general tools- such as bearing and seal pullers, leak detection, grinder, torch, propress and general hand tools, portable hand crane, come along chain operated mechanical lift and torque wrench.
- Work order software experience.
- Experience reviewing plumbing project specifications and drawings.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Must pass local, state, and federal background check.
- Must pass a pre-employment physical.
The work schedule is Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Maintenance operations are located at Locust Shade Park in Triangle, Virginia.
